love love love!

best friend and i FINALLY met up after like 5 frickin months!! the ironic thing is the both of us live 3 bus stops away from each other haha. the wait though, was definitely worth it. i never thought that i would be able to maintain a relationship for almost 14 years; this coming from a person who strongly believes i wouldn't last through a year of marriage. it was really strange walking all over singapore, bringing up little tidbits of memories that happened over 14 years, reducing the two of us to giggling six year olds again. i absolutely adore the fact that we can be apart for so long, yet catch up at exactly the point where we left off. i loved every minute of yesterday. i honestly don't know how im gonna react come july 8.

raindrops and gumdrops.

rainy mornings always remind me of when i was a kid, growing up in clementi. my dad would bring me to nursery every morning, after stopping at the esso gas station for post-breakfast breakfast. we'll both be happy people when it's sunny outside. when it rains however, hats off to my dad. for some strange reason, each time it rains in clementi, masses of earthworms will suddenly appear, obsuring my way to school. can you imagine anything else as disgusting as a mass of brown, wriggling, slimy things taking up space? ugh. so naturally, i will start screaming and jumping up and down in my rain-boots and my poor dad would have to carry me all the way to school, after which he would set me down and grumble about the 'mess' his perfectly ironed clothes were in.

not much has changed these days. i still shriek when i see earthworms, my dad still grumbles about his prefectly ironed clothes and my mum shoots us both a look haha.

so i've moved again. well i was getting rather annoyed with blogdrive's slow update and all. so im back at the same address. maybe i just love blogger too much eh.

been spending too much money lately. looks like my plan to bust my account is going to happen sooner than expected. oh oh! and i saw this damn hott pair of vans - pink and black stripes!! im gonna hold on till end of may/early june then its all mine!

actually i have nothing much to say. im gonna try making tiramisu today though! :))
